Q & A:

What is gravel biking?

Gravel riding is a type of cycling that involves riding on unpaved or gravel roads, often through rural or off-road areas. It's a versatile and adventurous style of cycling that can include a wide range of terrains, from smooth gravel paths to rough and challenging surfaces. Gravel bikes are specifically designed for this type of riding, featuring wider tires for better grip, durable frames, and sometimes added features like disc brakes to handle the demands of off-road cycling. Gravel riding has gained popularity for its combination of endurance, exploration, and a connection to nature.

Do I need a gravel bike to participate?

Not at all! You can use your mountain bike or even a fat tire bike to join the gravel rides. We can show you some tricks to make your bike more efficient on the gravel and will be hosting several clinics each year with retail partners where you can learn more about gravel bikes and get discounts on gear, apparel and more!
