Join the team with Life's 2 Short Fitness for a special clinic specific to female runners new to trail running with Dr. Mike of Evolution Physical Therapy.
Your PT will review common trouble spots for runners, strength training for runners to focus on, and help the group assess individual areas to work on to stay running healthy!
Expect to take your shoes off, get down onto the ground (and back up!), and participate as a group in bodyweight exercises, stretching and individual biomechanic assessment.
Afterwards coach Laura will lead a coached run and cover pacing for trail running, RPE and interval training. It will be an out and back run (20-25 minutes out at your pace so distance may vary).
Coach Laura will stay at the back of the pack's most comfortable pace. Faster runners are invited to go ahead as long as they have their own timing device.
Social time!
After the clinic, we’ll walk across the street to Big Daddy Bagels for breakfast and coffee. You can find their menu here. Bring another layer with you in case you get cold after we finish running!
